ACCO Brands is seeking a Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Manager to lead the ecommerce and brand websites in North America. The Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Manager will lead a team of digital marketers focused on driving on site user engagement, ecommerce, and lead generation. The Manager and the team will work closely with the other marketing functions and agencies to support brand development, new customer acquisition, and retention. The position requires very strong website management, ecommerce and content marketing skills. Additionally, the ability to work across multiple brands and business goals simultaneously, and a passion for digital marketing. This role is based either in our downtown Chicago remote location (WeWork) or at our corporate and global headquarters in Lake Zurich, IL, or a combination of both.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Customer Retention, Digital, Brand and Product Marketing teams to extend and enhance existing website platform(s) to drive measurable revenue growth for the company
  • Develop and manage website content and release program together with ACCO IT and external vendors to provide consistent improvements in website performance
  • Lead onsite testing and enhancement programs to drive SEO, Google Ads Quality Score improvements, conversion optimization programs, and customer retention  
  • Work closely with ACCO IT to prioritize, manage and communicate website enhancement requests, bug fixes, and establish 12-month rolling roadmap for website and ecommerce evolution  
  • Manage budget for all website-related technology platform spend, including 3rd party tools, vendor and agency development, and other internal and external costs associated with running a large-scale ecommerce platform  
  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce and website management  
  • Strong and documentable experience in driving improvements in SEO, conversion rate, and customer online engagement  
  • Deep understanding of all components of website user experience management, including Google Analytics, heat mapping tools, and onsite testing applications  
  • Experience in managing onsite content, both directly with the content management system (Episerver, Endeca, ATG, custom .net applications) and via PIM systems to feed websites  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals across all organizational levels required 
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present, and persuade across a team and executive management a must 
  • Solid general business management perspective 
  • Must possess good business instincts, problem solving and decision-making capability 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills required, detail driven
