Aclara is looking for a Full-Time Field Assistant to support smart meter deployment activities in the NY area. The person in this position will assist field technicians and supervisors by providing necessary tools and materials to achieve deployment goals and collect field data on specified formats.

Required:

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Computer knowledge and ability to work with handheld devices and tablets will be a big plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced role; requires highly motivated individuals who can think critically and work independently with little supervision.
• Must have valid drivers license

Physical Demands:

• Work variable schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must be willing to travel between company locations at different boroughs of NY as needed.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Constant vision and hearing.
