Acme Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced plant mechanic to join our growing operation.
This position will provide mechanical support for the night shift at our production facility in the Stapleton area.
The successful candidate will possess or meet the following requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance instructions & procedure manuals
- Ability to read, understand and follow electrical/ electronic prints for mechanical equipment and hydraulic/pneumatic applications
- Ability to trouble shoot mechanical and electrical issues on equipment and facility
- Experience with punch press and roll forming machinery highly desirable
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience performing maintenance duties in a manufacturing setting, including welding
- Knowledge and practice of safe working techniques in a proactive sense
Job responsibilities for this role would include:
- Performing preventative maintenance on company machines and equipment,
- Work and communicate in a professional manner with all business associates
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Diagnosing machine and equipment failures, making repairs/adjustments as needed, *Installing and repairing basic wiring and replacement of mechanical parts
- Installing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic controls on a variety of machines
- Maintaining equipment in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner
