What does a Western Territory Sales Manager do at companies like ACME MANUFACTURING COMPANY INC.?

The Western Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives of chain and cable products. In this role, you will develop, grow, and maintain relationships with company employees, channel partners, industry groups, and end-users. You will be expected to manage the assigned customer base, increase sales in the assigned geography, and provide application guidance and technical assistance to customers.

This individual will maintain a positive relationship with current customer base to ensure all customer concerns are dealt with quickly and effectively, resolving any potential customer conflicts.


In This Function You Will
  • You will become a product expert and manage ever-changing pricing and delivery requirements, reporting your findings to the leadership team.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in all applications and trends to effectively promote products and solutions.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to help identify, verify, and pursue the development of the new market or product opportunities.
  • Document all activity reports, prospects, and opportunities within the defined reporting system.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication flow throughout the sales team and to other departments, assisting the team to develop a coordinated sales effort while keeping management informed of market conditions.
  • Represent Perfection Chain at industry trade shows to promote product as appropriate.


Qualifications
 Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in marketing or technical sales in chain, cable, wire form or fastener industries.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates must currently reside within an area of a United States airport in the southwest or mountain regions to be considered. A candidate who lives in the Cullman, AL area will be considered to work from the Perfection Chain office.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Five or more (5+) years of B2B sales experience in the chain, cable, or fastener industry.
  • Experience managing a geographical territory as your own business.
  • Practical experience and understanding of the fastener industry.
  • Strategic planning ability and strong organizational skills.
