We’re looking for a passionate and motived Communications Coordinator to join AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s Communications team.

This role supports the Communications department in executing and monitoring marketing and communications strategies and deliverables.  You will work closely with AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s media team to create content that connects with our audience through multiple channels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Social Media:
• Create engaging text, image and video content to post across AHF and Out of The Closet Thrift Store social platforms daily

• Monitor and respond to messages, discussions and comments across social platforms
• Execute and monitor paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter 

• Digital Media:
• Write and edit copy across digital and traditional media channels while maintaining a consistent, accurate, and compelling brand voice

• Assist with ongoing email marketing content creation, testing, and analytical tracking

• Write a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts including newsletters, website copy, email content, blog posts, and print materials

• Administrative tasks:
• Budget tracking, invoicing, contract management, etc.

• Create and maintain content calendars and other administrative organizational tools for the Communications team (Hootsuite, E-Blast calendar, Medium

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or communications
• A passion for making an impact and commitment to the objectives of AHF
• 1-2 years of experience working in a communications or marketing role
• Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Later)
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Active Campaign
• Strong understanding of an editorial and brand voice
• Proven excellent project management, organizational and analytics skills
