Job Summary:
Reporting to the Portfolio Legal Counsel, this position will support the negotiation and administration of various contracts, including software license, software maintenance, sub-contractor, and non-disclosure agreements. The Contract Manager will customize existing templates, draft new agreements to fit project requirements, and effectively negotiate terms with customers. The position also entails reviewing Requests for Proposals and other bid documents, ensuring that the agreements reflect all negotiated terms and conditions.Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
*Acting as principal interface with internal and external customers on contractual matters; coordinating action to resolve any contractual issues with the contract team in a timely manner
*Reviewing customer requests for proposals, identifying proposal requirements, reviewing terms and conditions for acceptability and compliance with company policies and procedures
*Assisting in proposal development as required, securing management approval for siubmittal of proposals to customers
*Reviewing contractual terms and conditions for acceptability; assessing risk and impact to the proposal utilizing internal Company resources (Legal, Operations, and Pricing); providing alternate terms to customers
*Negotiating, structuring, and/or administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with customers and partners; working with Legal, Sales, Finance, and Professional Service teams to structure contracts
*Conducting contract negotiation and management of major contracts
*Closing out contracts in accordance with applicable procedures at the conclusion of all activity
*Operating in accordance with company policies and practices, and in compliance with accepted business ethics
Job Requirements:
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
*Strong internal and external customer service skills
*University or College degree in Law, Business, or Legal Administration
*Extensive knowledge of business and technology law
*5+ years of contract administration experience
* Ability to work independently within a geographically dispersed company environment.
* Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
