Averhealth is currently hiring for Lab Technician for a laboratory in St. Louis, MO.

Pay: $15/hr.

Shift: 9:30 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.

Job Duties/Responsibilities • Assists with sample processing and result reporting • Operates and maintains Screening Instrument and review of data in compliance with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines • Troubleshoots issues with screening instruments • Meet department activity and production goals • Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples • Basic understanding of drugs of abuse that are tested • Resolve and document any problem specimens • Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds regularly for 8 hours

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Forensic Science, or relevant field required •1 to 3 years of lab experience
