What You Will Do
We are seeking an Employee Benefit Consultant to build relationships with Executives, Human Resources and other Key Stakeholders to uncover their needs within the employee benefits and business insurance space.

• Drive the sales process by meeting and sourcing new clients, following up on referrals and building key relationships with existing clients. 
• Consult with clients in the decision-making process for new and existing lines of coverage. 
• Identifying client needs with benefits, including Group Health, Dental, Vision, Life and other group products as applicable.
• Serving as a risk management advisor to our clients by evaluating and finding areas for compliance improvement. 

Travel is required; specifically, in Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, and surrounding East Valley areas.

Successful candidates will utilize current knowledge of the benefits insurance industry with demonstrated success in sales and client relationships to develop, maintain and retain a book of business. 

• Responsible for sales production to meet and preferably exceed established annual production goals. 
• Develops and expands coverage to existing accounts and partners with other business lines for cross sell opportunities. 
• Promotes products or carriers that the agency has identified as important. 

• Follows up on all leads and expiration dates. 
• Partners with customer service representatives in managing the accounts. 
• Keeps current with selling trends and techniques, and uses agency-selling aids to help maintain a competitive status for the agency within the industry.

Preferred Experience

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Employee Benefits insurance industry 
• AZ resident license for life & health (Or ability to obtain prior to start date)
