The Regional Human Resources Business Partner (Regional HRBP) provides HR leadership and consultation to the executives, above office leadership team and line managers on the people-related matters impacting their business. The Regional HR Business Partner is responsible for solving a range of organizational challenges by leveraging your expertise in Human Capital. The HRBP adds value by partnering with business clients to provide innovative HR solutions and approaches with a focus on driving success and meeting business objectives. This position will be supporting offices across multiple states. Strong consideration for candidates that have 7 years of HR generalist expertise in a multi-unit environment. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

HR Consultation & Management

  • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives and productivity;
  • Building ongoing relationships with leaders, managers. Doctors and staff level employees;
  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the 'pulse' of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement;
  • Supporting and implementing the strategies set by the senior management team;
  • Providing hands-on support to employees and managers to better understand and utilize HR tools, processes and policies; maximizing organizational effectiveness, improve performance and ensuring compliance;
  • Advising and counseling managers and employees on employee relations matters; and
  • Consulting, advising, and assisting managers in achieving business goals through appropriate interventions; implementing and managing HR resource solutions, programs and services with dedicated corporate resources to maximize the achievement of short- and long-range business objectives. (e.g., change initiatives, employee relations, talent and performance management, organizational learning and development, compensation/reward optimization, talent acquisition, HR information and analysis, retention and engagement, employee communication, and HR programs and services).
  • Experience with the creation and implementation of analytical programs at an organizational level (examples- development of compensation models, organizational metric creation, or holistic talent assessment programs;
  • Experiencing driving HR change throughout an organization. Able to work independently while also building cross-functional relationships to build momentum behind HR initiatives;

Strategy Development and Execution

  • Supporting organizational effectiveness through proper alignment of people, processes, structure, and culture with business strategies;
  • Assessing and monitoring the organization's progress toward attaining short- and long-term objectives; designing and implementing programs and processes that further those goals;
  • Experience with the creation and implementation of analytical programs at an organizational level that ensure efficiency and effectiveness in outcome focused HR
  • Helping translate strategy into solutions, actions, and results;
  • Ensuring the people-perspective is represented in business decisions so implications are understood and the workforce is proactively managed; and
  • Assessing the impact of business decisions on workforce and provide solutions to optimize opportunities and mitigate any downsides.

Transactional Operations

  • Engaging with employees to investigate and resolve individual or job related issues;
  • Maintaining accuracy of employee indicative data;
  • Generating routine and special reports for as needed or requested using HRIS systems;
  • Monitoring and influencing employee participation and compliance with HR processes; and
  • Using proprietary and vendor-sponsored systems and tools to execute employee and management actions.

Skills Required:

  • HR management expertise in a multi-unit (10 or more locations preferred) environment
  • Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve employee issues affecting business performance
  • Ability to assess leadership potential at various levels. Experience coaching and developing leaders.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and remain current on the drivers to company performance, the industry, customer segments, the company value proposition and how the business retains competitive advantage in the marketplace
  • Experience responding to formal EEO charges
  • Knowledge of employment laws & regulations including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EO, HIPAA, and OSHA
  • Ability to work independently with tight timelines and multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of employer sponsored benefit plans (health, 401k, STD, LTD, etc) and statutory programs (unemployment, workers compensation)
  • Competent in performance management, compensation, training principles, recruiting and other HR general knowledge area
  • Capable of a "hands on" approach at all levels
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal communication, listening, critical writing & thinking skills

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; Post graduate education is a plus
  • 5-7 years of exempt HR generalist experience
  • SPHR/PHR certification preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
  • Health care experience helpful
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%)
