Budget Dumpster, a fast-growing digital marketing and sales organization in suburban Cleveland, is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Intern with a detail-oriented mindset and a positive attitude to contribute in a meaningful way to meeting our company goals.

During the summer program, the Digital Marketing Intern is tasked with pulling data for reports, researching new keywords, writing ad copy, assisting with campaign builds and other activities that directly support the Digital Marketing Paid Search team. These activities both expose the Digital Marketing Intern to critical marketing strategy components and provide the context for applying them.

The ideal candidate will be a full-time rising senior or graduated senior in an undergraduate program at an accredited four-year college or university. The degree program should align to a related field such as Business, Advertising, Marketing or Communications. This person will have experience learning complicated concepts quickly, working on a team to achieve a goal, and executing detail-oriented tasks well. This position reports directly to the Paid Specialist and will work with over 25 marketers, developers and creatives to tackle important tasks.

The Digital Marketing Intern will be paid an hourly wage commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Leverages tools such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics and proprietary platforms to pull data for daily, weekly and monthly reports 
• Publishes high-value web content through the CMS
• Researches external sites for keyword opportunities
• Analyzes competitors to identify opportunities to improve campaigns
• Supports the management of campaigns across multiple search engines including paid opportunities on social
• Records performance benchmarks for specific markets to evaluate success
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Enrolled as a rising senior or a recent graduate from an undergraduate program at an accredited four-year college or university
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred (for example: business, advertising, marketing, or communications)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Work experience related to business and marketing is a plus
• Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Effectively multi-task on several concurrent projects
• Function at a high level in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to draw conclusions and take appropriate action
• Accept and act on feedback, learn from mistakes, and apply lessons to future assignments
• Execute assignments accurately and on time
• Practice effective listening skills, with the ability to apply what's learned towards continual self-improvement
• Maintains a positive attitude and remains flexible in times of volatility and change
