Data Analyst, Steel Process Planning
We are seeking highly analytical, detail oriented candidates with a desire to learn the process requirements of our specialty alloys business. Experience with database queries and SQL a plus!
Job Summary:
In this role, you will create and maintain complete sets of manufacturing operations that will create materials that satisfy specifications and customer requirements in one product area, by translating order requirements and using established technical documents.
Develop and maintain testing plans that will satisfy customer requirements and specifications guidance from experienced Process Analysts.
Requirements:
- Two-year or Four year college degree (engineering, information technology, computer science) preferred, High school diploma required
- Three or more years relevant data analysis/data mining experience as determined by department management.
- Basic knowledge of metallurgical principals, standards, methods and practices.
- Basic knowledge of alloy and product characteristics and capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of the impact of customer/specification requirements on material selection, manufacturing, testing and certification.
- Knowledge of process by which complete sets of manufacturing operations are developed.
