CATER2.ME Head of National Event Sales Salary in the United States

POSITION SUMMARY

Cater2.me is a growing 200-person startup on a mission to make eating at work amazing! We prioritize learning and development, data-driven thinking, and innovation, working collaboratively across 11 US offices, from San Francisco and Los Angeles to New York and Atlanta.

We're looking for a Head of National Event Sales to build relationships with event companies and venues to secure opportunities in event sales and catering.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Proactively prospect for potential customers through varied means (cold calls, door-to-door, lead research, etc.)
• Follow guidelines in completing contracts, handing them off to the proper channels
• Create and present proposals to potential clients, spending time with them to assess needs and discuss options
• Successfully close sales to directly generate revenue for the Company
• Follow-up and maintain communication with clients after initial execution
• Attend trade shows, industry meetings, and other promotional or educational events as deemed beneficial
• Meet or exceed minimum sales quotas
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop sales strategies targeting clients

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree desired
• 2+ years of B2B sales experience
• Experience leading sales efforts in NYC, including prospecting, cold calling, and growing a customer base
• Ability to work independently
• Experience working in/with the events space
• Desire to work in a startup environment
• Experience working with CRM
