Catering Manager Responsibilities:
· Complete daily advertising, lead generation and sales tasks
· Plan, direct, and coordinate catered events for an establishment
· Negotiate, contract, assist in the selection of menu items, and communicate customer needs to the appropriate personnel.
· Responsible for assuring quality in the preparation and packaging of products, accuracy of orders, availability of ingredients and supplies, kitchen efficiency
· Develop and maintain catering accounts by ensuring customer satisfaction before, during, and after the event
· Maintain inventory of catering supplies and orders
· Deliver catering orders
· Review upcoming catering orders
· Ensure food waste is low
· Keep labor hours in line with workload
· Perform final check on all orders
Requirements:
· Charismatic, friendly, outgoing
· Sales oriented
· Willingness to participate in multiple job duties throughout the day
· 2 years in a restaurant environment
· 2 years in managing role
· Strong leadership and team development skills
· Solid Written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to regularly lift 50+Lbs
· Capable of standing and moving for entire shifts
· Willingness to work very early hours
· Understanding of health regulations
· Can follow exact directions
· Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
