EASTERSEALS MIDWEST Behavior Services Manager Salary in the United States

The Behavioral Services Manager is responsible for managing behavioral supports for individuals in assigned areas. This includes providing behavior analyst (BCBA) services and directly supervising Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) staff. Essential Functions: *Manages behavioral support services for assigned areas. This includes hiring, training, coaching and developing team members and supervising team activities to ensure that objectives are accomplished in accordance to rules outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and funding requirements. *Provides direct behavior analysis (BCBA) services including conducting initial assessments, designing therapeutic interventions, implementing treatment plans, conducting and writing functional behavior assessments (FBAs), monitoring progress, and changing objectives as needed. *Maintains detailed session information for all individuals receiving behavioral supports including collecting session data and creating graphs/reports on monthly basis, generating progress reports, and updating behavior plans as necessary. *Provides training and support to program teams on behavior plans, resources and information related to implementing positive behavior support strategies. *Ensures that behavioral services achieve Easterseals Midwest's mission, objectives, and goals; and meets all quality standards set forth by the organization, state regulations, funders and accreditation agencies. *Participates in various committees and groups related to Easterseals Midwest's behavioral services. *Works with supervisor to review behavior services currently offered and plan for future services and resources. *Ensures timely and accurate billing for services, provides follow-up and corrects billing discrepancies, maintains accurate records of services performed, and provides monthly service progress reports. *Ensures hours authorized for BCBA and RBT services meet the expectations of the departmental budget. Position Competencies: *Maintains knowledge in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and conducts behavior analysis using best practices. *Knowledge of providing behavioral services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disorders and autism in order to assess the behavior of individuals. *Able to assess the effects of the environment and other external factors on the behavior of individuals and recommend corrective remedies. *Excellent communication and listening skills to be able to communicate with individuals served as well as families, staff and community members. *Demonstrates effective leadership and management skills by clearly delegating responsibilities, providing regular performance feedback, building productive teams, developing employee skills, and encouraging employee growth and development. *Able to utilize Microsoft Office suite at a basic level for communication, report writing and graphing data. Qualifications: *Graduate degree in behavior analysis, education or psychology from qualifying institution and current BCBA certification. *At least 2 years of experience in conducting therapy or education with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism. *Knowledge of treatment for dual diagnosis, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) preferred. Additional Requirements: *This position is a full-time position and primarily works Monday through Friday daytime hours with evening and weekend hours as required to meet objectives. *Maintains all requirements for BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and adheres to the BACB ethical codes and self-reporting requirements. This position also maintains all funder mandated trainings/certifications. *This position requires travel to multiple locations in the St. Louis Tri-County area for therapy including: St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County and Jefferson County. *Current chauffeur's license and proof of car insurance is required.
