SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the growing needs of the organization, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is an integral part of ECS’ HR Team, working under the direction of the Associate Director of Human Resources. This professional oversees the recruitment lifecycle for all candidates from requisition to hire.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitor and process job requisitions in a timely and consistent manner.
2. Creatively post all openings internally and externally.
3. Source and screen resumes through all sources.
4. Monitor and process all internal candidates.
5. Build relationships and establish new recruitment sources to create a networking group of community contacts and organizations to establish a well-rounded, diverse recruitment program.
6. Work with Program Directors and Hiring Managers to schedule, coordinate and participate in interviews, including making recommendations.
7. Assess employment needs, generate correspondence, and compile recruitment assessments and reports.
8. Increase applicant flow with an emphasis on diversity.
9. Utilize the ATS to monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations to improve the time it takes to fill positions from requisition to hire.
10. Attend job fairs and visit a variety of organizations.
11. Monitor HR Email and sort resumes.
12. Create interview packets and make recommendations to edit interview questions, as necessary.
13. Back-up to other Human Resources functions, as necessary.
14. Attend all meetings as assigned and perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Experience in an HR environment, preferably in a non-profit setting.
Strong abilities in Microsoft software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience in multi-faceted HRIS systems.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Proven experience balancing multiple projects and meeting time sensitive deadlines.
Experience working in a culturally diverse workforce and understanding the need for equity, diversity and inclusion in recruitment, hiring and retention of ECS employees.
Must have the ability to respect different perspectives as well as differences in personalities, skill sets, experiences, and knowledge bases.
Highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
Experience working with a union and knowledge of the collective bargaining process preferred.
OTHER
Must secure finger image screening and annual TB screening. Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position which may include long periods at a desk and/or computer terminal. Must travel to all ECS sites. Will honor and abide by Episcopal Community Services rules and regulations, including confidentiality
