What does an E-Commerce Marketplace Feed Manager do at companies like FEEDONOMICS?

What You’ll Be Doing:

The Enterprise Marketplace Feed Manager will spend most of his/her time performing the following functions requiring discretion and independent judgment, working under only general supervision.

**This can be a Remote Position**

Marketplace Data Setup, Optimization, and Review

  • Project management and hands-on implementation of client onboarding and channel expansion
  • Review client data and technical requirements for marketplace product listing and order integration setup
  • Establish project scope during onboarding, including identifying and prioritizing additional client requests
  • Utilize the Feedonomics platform to configure and map attributes from a variety of files, including delimited and XML files, custom scripts, and API-based platform integrations
  • Follow best practices to build product feeds, including optimizing, modifying, sorting and filtering mass quantities of product data into optimized product listings
  • Set up exports to automate product catalog data updates to various marketplace and online retail channels
  • Set up order management automation between Feedonomics and the client’s order management system
  • Conduct regular strategic account review calls with clients, including account status reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with marketplace channel partners to facilitate client onboarding and issue resolution

Problem Solving

  • Install and troubleshoot integrations to import data and manage orders
  • Troubleshoot data imports that are not functioning correctly, ensure the integrity of data, resolve mismatching product attributes when products are updated, and provide solutions to resolving errors and warnings on marketplace channels
  • Anticipate potential client issues and proactively find solutions

Communication

  • Communicate effectively with clients and other teams, ensuring accurate and timely responses
  • Facilitate virtual client meetings and manage multi-client communication
  • Appropriately set and maintain expectations with the client and internal teams
  • Oversee communication and work done for accounts under your management and delegate work to appropriate teams
  • Keep immediate supervisor and director informed of any client issues or escalations
  • Enthusiasm and passion are crucial to ensure an exceptional customer experience

Accountability

  • Prioritize tasks, including managing FeedSupport™ queue, emails, and other responsibilities
  • Adhere to Feedonomics procedures and best practices
  • Manage documentation, including account notes, process documents, reference information, etc.
  • Provide weekly updates on the status of accounts, special projects, and other ad hoc assignments
  • Track time worked at the project or task-level per account
  • Lead by example and maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external stakeholders 

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • 2-5 years of professional experience with marketplace account management 
  • Hands-on experience managing Amazon, Walmart, or eBay merchant accounts
  • A can-do attitude and team-centric
  • Strong passion and drive to succeed
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with PPC, Display, and Social
  • Certifications such as AdWords, Bing, Analytics, etc.
  • Basic HTML or SQL
