Hourly Wage for FLEX 2020 Summer Intern - Engineering Salary in the United States

Job Description

The Engineering Intern will be based in Austin, TX. As an Engineering Intern, you will work under the supervision of various senior engineers and designers to help design and develop products. You will be involved in challenging projects that matter to the business to help achieve company goals, which will solve real-time business issues.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

• Support the hardware design for new products, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.
• Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Identifies standard products and technology sub-blocks for inclusion into designs.
• Supports hands on development and bring-up of hardware boards and platforms.
• Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
• Manages design parameters and design tradeoff priorities while keeping on schedule.
• Works from requirements to design effective and cost-efficient solutions.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

• Currently enrolled, 3rd or 4th year and pursuing a degree in Engineering from an accredited university
• Available for 10-12 weeks during summer term available to start June 1, 2020
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
