TCM’s services include credit card program consulting, portfolio acquisition, product development and agent bank sponsorship choices.

Summary:

Responsible for business research, analysis, and documentation to provide support for internal groups, vendors, and senior personnel.  Serves as subject matter expert for TCM systems, to include the Credit Card Origination System, Human Resources Information System, Sage, CRM and Jack Henry.  Review, analyze and evaluate all business systems and user needs. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

1.      Partner with process owners and stakeholders across business units (i.e., Business Development, Risk, IT, Compliance, Credit, Operations, Marketing) to develop, implement, and support departmental and enterprise level initiatives. This is to include, but not be limited to, portfolio acquisitions & conversion systems, production implementation, new system implementation, and the enhancement of existing systems

2.      Serve as thought leader for technical business processes and business analysis methodologies, developing forward-thinking best practices that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

3.      Process Ownership (e.g. billing error review, SCRA, Ad-hoc data requests)

4.      Oversight for maintaining plastics inventory and insert inventory with FIS

5.      Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats

6.      Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, discovering areas for process improvement; develop and implement solutions

7.      Document processes and procedures (revision of existing or creating new)

8.      Performs account research and analysis (e.g. Suspense item research, Credit bureau dispute research, trailing activity, business account research and EWB review)

9.      Documents business requirements to support business initiatives / projects

10.    Works closely with vendors to develop and implement system functionality to support business objectives

11.    Attends product and vendor application training

12.    Works directly with clients and vendors in problem solving activities requiring technical expertise or specialized knowledge

13.    Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in a related field
  • 2-4 years professional level experience in client industry related field (e.g. Financial services, System analysis); or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Business Analytical Methodologies (i.e., business requirement documentation, use case development, functional process development, user acceptance testing plan development, test script development and execution
  • Strong analytical skills and background in Microsoft Excel and SQL
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Analytical/problem solving
  • Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in understanding and focusing on the clients’ needs, establishing credibility and building relationships with Clients and Vendors
  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills
  • Collaborates well with others
  • Ability to manage conflict
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public.
