We are looking for a Full Time Central Supply Coordinator to join our team.Job SummaryThe primary purpose of your job position is to assist in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing and the Director of Environmental Services.Job Description (Brief)Assist the Director with all the essential job duties by ensuring that supplies are ordered and received. Deliver supplies and maintain the Central Supply Department in a clean, organized, and functional condition. Assist other department personnel as necessary. Receive and distribute supplies throughout the organization.As a Central Supply Coordinator you are delegated to Administrative and Supply Functions:Receive and follow instructions from your supervisor and as outlined our policies and proceduresFill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and proceduresEnsure that supplies and equipment are properly maintained.Organize storage, issue and delivery of supplies and equipment in accordanceNotify appropriate department when special orders have arrived.Fill requisitions, as approved, and file in accordance with established policies and procedures.Maintain in the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.Working ConditionsMoves intermittently during work hoursWorks in assigned areas of the facilityIs subject to frequent interruptionsPhysical and Sensory Requirements (with/or without the Aid of Mechanical Devices)Must be to speak, write and read the English language in an understandable manner.Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agenciesMust be to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.EducationMust posses, as a minimum, a high school diplomaExperienceNursing Home or Hospital preferred but not required.
