REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Execute the project delivery process by utilizing on-staff technical consultants.
  • When applicable coordinate with outside contractors
  • Successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
  • Identify projects tasks and assigning tasks to on-staff consultants.  Identify the right resource for a given task maximizing productivity
  • Develop a Project execution plan (PEP) for projects with written directives and expectations as well as help strategize on logistics for deliverables
  • Reviewing key project deliverables and participating in key project milestone meetings;
  • Ensuring client engagements are delivered in a manner which meets/exceeds customer expectations
  • Advising, coaching and partnering with cross-functional teams on project delivery, solution development and deployment as needed;
  • Identifying client satisfaction, quality and monetary risks for the territory and proactively coaching staff to mitigate risk.
  • Plan and envision the necessary professional development of on-staff technical consultants for specific projects.
  • Traveling to client site for project-related meetings
  • Manage utilization targets and monitoring project costs and budget
  • Developing project plans and coordinating estimated delivery as needed for prospects and clients in a sales support capacity
  • Communicating with prospects and clients regarding project process, keys to success, implementation guidelines and time and cost estimates;
  • Develop improved methodologies and ways to streamline project management processes to increase productivity
  • Document Standard procedures to be leveraged across teams
  • Proactively working with the sales team, 'Director of VDC Services' and 'VP of Consulting' on the management of overall client projects.

Additional Responsibilities include: 

  • Excels in oral and written communications including developing presentations, talking points and speaking and presenting to c-level audience with comfort and authority;
  • Works with Client services to manage schedule of services and coordinated with sales.
  • Working with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute a plan for revenue generation based on project success
  • Develop a plan to Track client satisfaction to evaluate and measure project success
  • Attend networking activities directly or indirectly related to an on-going engagement: Local Conferences, User Groups, Union meetings, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • PMP is ideal but not required
  • Develop and implement plans to meet business and team metrics;
  • Identify and convert on revenue generation opportunities within projects and in ongoing services capacity;
  • Partner successfully with sales and marketing colleagues;
  • Identify and manage client satisfaction, quality and monetary risks associated with projects and proactively mitigate those risks;
  • Quickly develop deep knowledge in and act as an authority on clients, products, implementation process, and solutions.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ of project management experience in General Contracting, Construction Management or Subcontracting
  • Experience should demonstrate a deep understanding of technology and business drivers and an affinity for client service and consulting. Knowledge of design technology tools being a is a plus but not required.
