Starting Salary:   $17.97 Hourly

JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Accounting Assistant performs all third-party sponsor billing activities which include authorizing, billing, collecting, and posting. This individual will be responsible for the proper and efficient billing, collection, and posting of student and non-student revenue, including third-party billing and collection. This position provides customer service and support for various student and accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on third-party sponsor billing, as well as front desk activities including phone, in person, and online service to learners in a complex and diverse environment. This position shares the cash handling responsibilities of posting, depositing, and reconciling along with being a level one telephone operator for the Enrollment Services call center.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES and LICENSES

Required:

• Accounting experience

• 1-year experience with Microsoft Office and preferably GSuite

• Cash handling experience

Preferred:

• Experience with debits and credits (preferred)

• Associate's degree (preferred)

• Ability to work remotely

• Ability to work on-site and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment PPE while on-campus
