Fast paced, national projects! Restaurant Technologies is adding a Project Manager to our team to ensure our success in bringing customers onboard.  The Project Manager engages Customers through regular, strategic calls to drive product adoption and to complete installations and other projects time and on budget.  As Project Manager, you will lead and guide cross-functional teams both internally and externally to execute the completion of technical requirements, regulatory approvals, surveys, Customer training, billing and user set-ups and installations. You will remain neutral to various departments and push for improvement when opportunities arise to expedite project deliverables. The Project Manager must manage with a sense of urgency, yet keep a level head and perspective on what is best overall for all parties. For RT Project Managers, the primary goal is to continuously deliver project completion within the agreed upon time and budget, while always attending to customer satisfaction and quality work.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Scope contract, customer expectations, install needs, billing setup and invoicing, etc. to properly develop a rollout plan for National Accounts (project based plans) quickly and effectively
  • Partner with sales to drive a high level of communication with customers relative to install readiness and installation timelines (and centralized scheduling)
  • Drive internal install readiness through working with RLT, depot leadership teams, customer success specialists, etc. to continue company install plans
  • Own and drive customer installation readiness and forecasting for the business viewpoint of gross margin and planning
  • Risk mitigation – pulling in other departments and acting as neutral SME when problems are on horizon or arise that may limit or stop project from completion
  • Effectively document project through milestones to completion and keep business informed as needed through weekly calls, status updates and monthly reporting, and CRM systems
  • Partner with internal stakeholders relative to product development and customer experience improvements and processes

  • Sense of urgency and commitment to high profile accounts, customers and stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong communicator (both through email, phone communication, conference calls and occasional face to face interactions)
  • Willingness to challenge others and push healthy debates when needed
  • Ability to prioritize own schedule to stay on track with multiple projects at a time
  • Comfort in redundancy and continuous planning
  • Clear understanding of matrix organization
  • Clear understanding of forecast and significance to organizational performance
  • Desire to impact company gross margin through execution of contracts and implementing the ink to install process

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years developing and guiding implementation plans for products and services in high paced business environments, or other relevant project management experience
  • Background in customer account management
  • PMI Certifications preferred, but not required... or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
