In this position you will perform inspection functions on all parts, assemblies, sub-assembly materials, weld fabrications, and purchased component parts to ensure they are within prescribed specifications. You will become a member of the local collective bargaining unit upon hire where you will be assigned to work on 2nd shift
What are your responsibilities?
Read and interpret manufacturing documentation, drawings, inspection and other procedures, process and material specifications, special instructions, and vendor supplied quality documentation.
Perform magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection on parts while checking for defects or flaws in materials according to specifications.
Inspect welded fabrications and machined parts.
Work with quality and engineering departments to resolve non-conformances.
Complete all paper and electronic inspection documentation as required.
Earn and maintain certification at Level II for liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing.
Conform to all safety procedures and policies
Adhere to all company policies set forth in terms of smoking, harassment, mutual respect, etc.
What do you need to qualify for this role?
Candidates must achieve a passing score on the TABE test issued at One Stop. Call 716-373-1880 to schedule an appointment.
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis throughout the day.
