Join our manufacturing team as an Inspector at our Olean, NY facility.  In this position you will perform inspection functions on all parts, assemblies, sub-assembly materials, weld fabrications, and purchased component parts to ensure they are within prescribed specifications. You will become a member of the local collective bargaining unit upon hire where you will be assigned to work on 2^nd shift 

What are your responsibilities?

• Read and interpret manufacturing documentation, drawings, inspection and other procedures, process and material specifications, special instructions, and vendor supplied quality documentation.

• Perform magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection on parts while checking for defects or flaws in materials according to specifications.

• Inspect welded fabrications and machined parts.

• Work with quality and engineering departments to resolve non-conformances.

• Complete all paper and electronic inspection documentation as required.

• Earn and maintain certification at Level II for liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing.

• Conform to all safety procedures and policies

• Adhere to all company policies set forth in terms of smoking, harassment, mutual respect, etc.

What do you need to qualify for this role?

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis throughout the day.
