Naval Air Station Fallon is home to the Naval Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) and a desert community of 24,000 residents that’s close to California, Lake Tahoe  and Oregon. It’s only an hour’s drive to the excitement of Reno and less than 2 hours to the sportsman’s paradise of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
