The Health Plan Quality Management Executive develops plans designed to improve the overall quality of the organization's facilities and patient care services. Oversees all aspects of the quality management function for a hospital or other healthcare facility. Being a Health Plan Quality Management Executive is responsible for planning and directing quality policies, programs, and initiatives. Oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and other accreditation standards. In addition, Health Plan Quality Management Executive requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. Typically requires at least 15 years of clinical experience. Typically reports to top management. The Health Plan Quality Management Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Has acquired the business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head.
Facility Maintenance Technician IV performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards. Following standard operating procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems. Being a Facility Maintenance Technician IV assists with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures, and moving furniture or materials within the facility. Utilizes a work order system to log activities as required. Additionally, Facility Maintenance Technician IV works with or assists trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Facility Maintenance Technician IV independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. To be a Facility Maintenance Technician IV typically requires 5-7 years of related experience.
