The purpose of this close supervision is to ensure proper safety rules, operating procedures, and electrical safety-related work practices are being followed. **General Supervision:** A Cable Splicer - Class A observing an employee from the immediate area of the manhole, vault or equipment providing the necessary instruction and direction for the tasks being performed. **General Purpose of Work.** * Assists one or more employees of the Electric Distribution Network Department in the construction, operation, and maintenance of the electric network systems and distribution systems located in conduit packages, manholes and vaults.
