Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, the Lab Technician is responsible for supporting and enhancing the College's Energy Systems Program. The incumbent will work together with all faculty and staff to create an atmosphere of trust and respect in which all can succeed. This candidate will maintain the Energy Systems lab environment and equipment, and assist in the instruction of students in the use of technical equipment. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain a safe and proper operation in the lab, preserve the shop integrity, and demonstrate excellence in the following areas. Ensures utilization and proper maintenance of specialized learning equipment and materials. Ensures proper supplies are available in the shop. Restock inventory and provide material list. Set up required equipment and tools for weekly labs prior to the start of the lab sessions. Assist in obtaining tools and supplies
