Job Description Job Description TEACHING ARTIST in Filmmaking THE POSITION Soul2Soulz is committed to amplifying student voices through film to strengthen the community. Our programming centers on the Social Emotional Learning pillars utilizing issue-based filmmaking to develop student competency. The Teaching Artist with have experience in one or more various aspects of Filmmaking. Camera, scriptwriting, acting, producing, editing, lighting, sound, additional film crew duties, and will work on several aspects of the program including, group facilitation, administrative tasks, and lesson planning. This person will be required to work in person at school sites. Local NYC filmmaking professionals, recent filmmaking college graduates, and BIPOC candidates are encouraged to apply.
