Usability Engineer Salary in Nevada

ONSITE 3 DAYS PER WEEK, NEW HAVEN, PARKING REIMBURSED Participate in the Human Factors / Usability Engineering for pipeline combination products as well as lifecycle management. This position will manage the human factors deliverables, overall user interface evaluation, study design, development of labeling, integration of user needs, use risk analysis and HF vendor selection. This role will interact with multiple functional teams including Clinical, Global Drug Safety, Marketing, Quality, and Regulatory, from clinical development through registration and commercial support. This is what you will do: This position will serve the role of Sr Engineer 2 for Human Factors of Alexion combination products within Global Product Development function of Alexion. The candidate will participate in the Human Factors / Usability Engineering for pipeline combination products as well as lifecycle management. This position will manage the human factors deliverables, overall user interface evaluation,

• At least 2-5 years progressive experience as usability specialist in Healthcare or another safety related field (e.g. aviation, military, automotive). • Applies creative expertise on higher complexity project or program level with a high level of content specialism to maximize patient and staff experience within your focus area by applying your experience of usability methodologies from initial research on user needs to workflow analyses to concept creation to formative evaluations and to summative evaluations . • Initiates and executes own analysis and research to gain deeper insights as input for solution creation. Report on results, draw conclusions and identify and communicate recommendations for re-design and usability requirements to relevant business stakeholders. • Actively drives effective collaboration through co- create approaches between Design and business stakeholders, being able to onboard and guide juniors and interns and willingness and ability to travel to customers

Summary The Senior Systems Engineer at Vapotherm is responsible for the system architecture of a product or solution, from conception to design and through verification and validation. He or she will apply expert technical knowledge and multi-disciplinary engineering principles to translate customer needs into innovative solutions within established medical device regulations and applied standards. This individual will provide guidance to other engineers for technical issues, design reviews, and complex problem resolution using a disciplined approach.
