The Scandinavian Library was founded in 1994 to be a meeting place for people from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland in the greater Boston area. The Scandinavian Library is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization managed entirely by volunteers, including a steering committee made up of representatives from the five Nordic countries.
