  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the food manufacturing industry, with a track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of food production processes, quality assurance principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Our client is growing food manufacturer, with a presence in North America and South America. They have been in business for over 50 years and are seeking a General Manager for their Chicago location. The role will report to the COO and be oversee all aspects of our production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the General Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to achieve our financial and operational objectives.

  • Competitive base salary between $175,000 and $215,000, depending on experience and skills
  • 20% Target Bonus, based on profitability and site metrics
  • OTE circa $275,000
