We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for an Office Manager in the greater Niles, MI region. This role will involve performing administrative and basic accounting duties, overseeing day-to-day office operations, and supervising volunteers as necessary. The Office Manager will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of financial information and customer interactions. Responsibilities: • Maintain general ledger and other journals, preparing monthly financial reports and statements for review. • Reconcile monthly bank statements, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. • Process check requests efficiently and secure proper authorization for all expenditures. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports • Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring all applicable taxes are paid timely and accurately. • Attend meetings as required, prepare meeting packets, record minutes, and ensure all items are followed up on. • Maintain calendars, scheduling special events and meetings. • Monitor and order supplies as necessary, ensuring the smooth running of the office.
