Job Description Job Description JOB OVERVIEW: The Executive Assistant to the Diocesan Office is a full-time position reporting to the bishop while working to support him and the Leadership Team of the Episcopal Diocese of West Virginia. The Executive Assistant to the Diocesan Office supports the ministry and the mission of the diocese by relieving the bishop and other members of the Leadership Team of routine office, clerical, and administrative duties. The Executive Assistant will manage the bishop’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters. The Executive Assistant will also be asked to facilitate the bishop’s correspondence, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing letters.
