About Comitis Crisis Center
We provide, on average, 160 meals per day to residents and emergency shelter individuals. We are the primary emergency shelter for Aurora Police Department and Aurora Police Department's Victim's Assistance Services (APD VAS). We are called upon nightly by the Aurora Police Department and take in, on average, three emergency housing individuals each evening. We are the 24/7, on-call, "safe shelter
