The Disabilities Board of Charleston County (DBCC) is the leading provider in Charleston County for services and supports for children and adults who are eligible for services through the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (SCDDSN). We offer early intervention, service coordination, a developmental child center, adult day programs, and residential supports to individuals with severe, lifelong disabilities, such as intellectual disability, autism, traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury. Our extensive services and supports may be provided both in the home of the person with disabilities and in dozens of facilities throughout the county, and extending into neighboring counties.
