About The Role Responsible for the analysis of the general ledger to allow accurate and timely financial reporting in conformity with GAAP, SEC, reporting, and policies and procedures set forth by GBCI. Manages the bank's financial budget process, implements new processes, and contributes to the organization's success by providing valuable financial insights and supporting various strategic initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with the gathering of information for audits and examinations by Regulators and Auditors as needed. Reviews income and expense general ledger entries for appropriateness and assures all monthly entries have been made, accrued or prepaid for the month prior to month end close. Oversees and validates month-end close process, analyze variances to budget, and guide other finance staff on methodology design.
