Sparrows Place was the dream of a group of parents and other connected community members as early as 1990. The dream was resurrected in 2005 by a small group of individuals to act as a preliminary board of directors. Creating a business plan and securing articles of incorporation, non-profit status, and insurance were just a few of the many steps that had to be complketed to realize the dream. In January 2008, we began to provide Community Living Supports to adults with developmental disabilities in Dexter. By June 2014 we expanded our services to a second site in the Saline area serving developmental disabilities.
