The virtual series, Prosper in Great Neck Plaza, will be held on the second Wednesday of each month from June to December 2021, and will provide attendees with information on how to grow their businesses, manage their finances, and market their way out of COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected many downtown businesses, said Ted Rosen, the Mayor of Great Neck Village. We are concentrating on working with businesses that are in the Village of Great Neck Plaza to offer services for finance and management, and to help them succeed. We hope this partnership can be a model for other communities. The BDC has experience with providing technical assistance to businesses navigating the pandemic, including with applying for loans and loan forgiveness, and administers two 60-training courses annually through its NYS Empire State Development Entrepreneurship Assistance Center.
