**Job Description** **General Purpose:** Perform electrical maintenance tasks on plant utility and process infrastructure. Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, electrical components, and electronic components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications. Work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused on complex and/or new assignments. Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** + Program, troubleshoot, and operate programmable controllers, distributive control systems, and interlocking systems + Install equipment for new electrical services (120v, 240v, and 480v three phase), including wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, contactors, relays, times and controls + Perform work on site automation system to the component level including components that require 010-volt signal or 4-20 milliamp signal repair + Perform electrical tro

This position will diagnose and repair equipment so that down time is minimized, and equipment is available when needed. Other duties include: Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on equipment as needed so that all equipment is in specified condition and accurate records are available. Repair and/or fabricate parts, when needed, so that equipment is operational. Use required computer programs so that repair information is recorded accurately and available for use by others. Maintain individual and state tool inventory so that all tools are in usable condition and accounted for. Work with shop supervisor, shop employees and other stakeholders to look for opportunities to improve processes to create greater efficiencies in workflow and/or work procedures.
