THE FOCUS IS YOU: We are looking to add an Audit Senior Manager to help guide and oversee our clients, in addition to supporting our internal leaders and the on-going growth in our Melville, NY office. As an Audit Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing the necessary procedures involved in planning and executing attestation engagements for clients in accordance with the applicable accounting standards. The Audit Senior Manager serves to manage client engagements, maintain client relationships, and act as a liaison between overseeing/mentoring internal staff and working closely with internal leaders, to ensure high-quality work is conducted and delivered to our clients. Performs audit, review, or compilation procedures for clients. Plans and performs all phases of an engagement including workpaper preparation, financial statement preparation, and report preparation. Analyzes and prepares trial balances, complex financial statements and audit reports using audit software programs, Word, and Excel. Reconciles accounting information to control accounts. Conducts fraud interviews on an as-needed basis with CEO, accountants and other employees. Reviews staff work, prepares high risk audit sections and drafts financials statements.
