STS Packaging, a Schwarz Partners, L.P. affiliate company, is currently seeking a Quality Inspector in Charlotte, NC. The primary responsibility of the Quality Inspector is to review bag samples from machines for defects and track the data. The Quality Inspector should have excellent attention to detail, willingness to work in a team environment, and ability to effectively communicate with plant employees. This position reports to the Quality and Safety Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: Review product from each machine throughout the shift. Check quality of bag formation. Track data in Excel Spreadsheets as well as other computer-based software for number of defects per machine. Assist with shift training and communication as it relates to quality.
