Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide positive and proactive interaction with guests and maintains great relationships with guests. Manages the human resource function in the restaurant ensuring recruitment, selection, orientation, training, scheduling and performance management functions meet or exceed company specified criteria. Implements and maintains effective two-way communication systems which reach all staff. (Pre meal, weekly, monthly meetings.) Maintain a positive working relationship with clients and service teams. Ensures timely meal service and overall food quality and handling, safety, service, and cleanliness standards are met in all service areas. Supervises service during dining hours. Responds to guest complaints in person at the time of the complaint or via e-mail for electronically received complaints. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Promote excellent guest/associate rapport by reacting promptly, efficiently, and courteously to all requests. 2. Answer radio promptly. 3. Take responsibility for all chemicals and equipment assigned. 4. Deliver clean linens to and from the guest floors in response to occupancy and supervisor's requirements. 5. Remove all garbage, cots, cribs and dishware from the guest floors and return to their designated locations. 6. Carry out specialized cleaning projects to approved level of competency and productivity, such as carpet and upholstery cleaning, windows and ice machine cleaning etc. 7. Move guest room furniture to and from guest rooms as required by the guest and supervisor. 8. Keep closets and storage area stocked with daily supplies. 9. Assist with all general cleaning and rehabilitation projects, as directed. 10. Report all floor/carpet care needs to the housekeeping office. 11.
