Responsibilities / Tasks Communicate and lead with other engineering disciplines within the department, and ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time. Communicate with customers to ensure successful installation of equipment on site. Oversee sub-contractors as required. Assist with product drawing and specification reviews as required. Determine project objectives by reviewing handover documents and specifications. Determine project specifications by analyzing product design, customer requirements, and performance standards. Manage communication with customers throughout the life of the project. Manage communication with internal stakeholders. Plan and manage completion of project objectives from receipt of order to completion of commissioning. Create project schedules to achieve successful project timelines. The Project Engineer executes standard product contracts per engineering processing instructions. Responsibilities / Tasks Performs engineering work assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard industry engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to standard products. Works with equipment suppliers to size, select, specify, and purchase non-standard components to meet customer requirements, using company engineering standards and procedures. Provides necessary contract documentation for customer/shop requirements and subsequent follow-up assistance as required. Works with drafters to implement manufacturing and customer drawings and/or bills of materials.
