MJG Inc. was created by MJ Grant and Allen Wilson who offer a combined experience in the Signal Department of the Union Pacific Railroad totaling over 50 years. They brought their ideas together in 1994 to form this progressive new company. The company was created to meet the needs of privately owned railways, transit groups and class 1 customers who were faced with meeting and complying to Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) standards. MJG Inc. continues to grow and fulfill needs. In 2012 MJG moved into communications, overhead catenary systems and streetcar construction. MJG Inc. has been very successful in adding these components to our team. Since 1994, MJG Inc. has completed signal projects, overhead contact systems & communications systems throughout the Western United States. This has also led to opportunities for us to supply FRA maintenance requirements to customers in many states. MJG Inc. offers experienced work crews capable of all phases in the installation of signal, streetcar & communication projects. This ranges from design build, construction manage general contract (CMGC), signal & communication design, consulting and circuitry changes. MJG Inc. has completed many Light Rail Projects, Grade Crossing Warning Systems, Power Bonding, Overhead Contact Systems, and Fiber Optic Communications systems using state of the art technology.
