Parlights Inc. was established in 1978 by Owner and President Cary Levitt and has been at its present location in Frederick since 2000. Parlights is a licensed stage equipment contractor and supplier specializing in the design and installation of theatrical lighting and rigging systems throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We also maintain a showroom and boxed-goods sales department, as well as a service and repair department. Parlights has assembled a team of specialists from both the theatrical and construction communities to design, specify, and install complete theatre systems for new construction and renovation projects. Parlights' experience working with the professional design community (architects, engineers, and consultants) enables us to integrate the theatre systems developed for our customers in construction projects as a whole. In addition to our design and installation work, Parlights also maintains an inventory of theatrical expendables and supplies. From gel and paint to makeup and special effects, we can fill most orders within 24 hours. Every day, our Sales department receives and ships orders from customers throughout our region. We are proud to count major universities and federal agencies among our customers, and are just as proud of the many local high schools and colleges who look to us for their theatrical supply needs.
