Job Description Job Description The Transportation Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling drivers to pick up or deliver loads to customers and serves as a point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal departments, such as Billing. Responsibilities include answering calls, monitor emails, troubleshoot shipment issues, compile drivers’ paperwork, and ensure customers are serviced in a timely manner.
