Founded in Lodi, California in 1993, Custom Axis was originally formed to provide chassis builders and aftermarket part suppliers with a shock absorber truly tailored to fit their applications and designs. The ability to make a product specific to custom a-arms, swing arms, and suspension geometries allowed Custom Axis to grow in popularity throughout the ATV market. This culminated in 2003 when Penske Racing Shocks fully acquired Custom Axis Racing Shocks. As part of our strategy to bring all of our technology under one roof, Custom Axis relocated from Lodi, California to Penske Racing Shocks headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania in 2005. Working together under one roof has allowed our engineering and technical staffs to share research and development, grow performance of the Custom Axis product line, and ultimately better serve our customers.
