Salary Range: $66,560 - $79,700 DPSS is searching for an experienced technical writer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have proven success in researching, evaluating, analyzing, and communicating complex information. The DPSS technical writer is expected to understand project requirements, audience-focused communications (technical / non-technical), and concision. Candidates will have experience producing and copy-editing both user-facing documentation, such as technical manuals, specifications, and internal documentation including code diagrams, processes, and code references. Candidates are expected to work both independently and in collaborative environments. Essential Job Functions: Maintain general knowledge of engineering, software development, and technology. Assist subject matter experts with the writing, editing, and verification of technical documentation. Generate and revise technical documents including User Guides, Manuals, Interface Control Documents (ICD), etc.
