About San Fernando High School
San Fernando High School was established in 1896. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. SFHS was originally located on Fifth and Hager Streets in the City of San Fernando. In 1906, the school site was changed to the campus on North Brand Blvd., presently the site of San Fernando Junior High. The school opened at its present site in 1952.
