All of our coders and auditors work remotely from home, set their own hours, and can earn over 20% more than the average AAPC coder or auditor’s salary. TCN’s OBGYN division is experiencing unprecedented growth and we need to contract with multiple new coders who can work as few as 15 hours a week. Our E&M division is also looking to add coders with OBGYN E&M experience. Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the Inpatient Coder position is to review hospital inpatient medical records and assign ICD-10 diagnosis codes and procedure codes that accurately reflect the reason for admission and patient acuity. Follows established hospital inpatient coding guidelines and utilizes Coding Clinic and other resources to ensure compliance with national coding guidelines.
